Question: What are my obligations in regards to food as a supplier?
Answer:When supplying or handling food you have many requirements you are required to meet, this includes workplace health and safety and food safety standards set out at the state and local council level as well as food preparation standards and the food standards set out the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code. When supplying foods, you should also be wary of incorrectly labelling food or supplying misleading advertising about the food. Depending on the type of food you are supplying there may also be additional regulations.
