1. What is the biggest challenge facing your business right now?
Scaling without the bricks-and-mortar aspect.
Let me use the café analogy to illustrate my point. In cafés, they sell coffee as a low-cost item to attract customers, who are more likely to purchase other main meals to complement their coffee, for example, a quiche. The availability of coffee makes it easier and more effective to sell other food items. Likewise, it is difficult to sell the other items without the presence of coffee.
Similarly to cafés, which rely on coffee to sell their food, we depend on a physical location to attract people who initially seek Personal Training (only fitness). These clients eventually become interested in our Personal Coaching/Body & Lifestyle Transformation (which includes habits, mindset, lifestyle, nutrition, and holistic weight loss).
Our challenge in scaling our business arises because we provide all our services online and only offer Personal Coaching, without onsite Personal Training. Therefore, we have decided to introduce an exclusive, members-only private boutique fitness studio located in Melbourne East.
