A trust deed can be stamped by the trust’s State Revenue Office (SRO) or by its registered agent upon execution. E.g. a trust deed established in NSW needs to be stabled by the NSW SRO or a NSW SRO registered agent. The cost of stamp duty associated with stamping a trust deed also varies from state to state.
