Yes, you can use other products in your advertising if you enter into a licence agreement with the owner of the brand or trade mark of the product you wish to use. Some of the terms of the agreement might include a fee for its use (otherwise, the product owner might just be happy with the free advertising generated by the product placement) and details about how it will be used in the advertisement. However, a business can also use products in advertisements without the owner’s permission if a product simply appears in the ad, is incidental to the matters portrayed in the ad and is not integrated into the plot of the ad in any way. For example, it just appears in the background.
