Joanne Tassone | Construction and Infrastructure

Joanne is a Senior Lawyer in LegalVision’s Construction and Infrastructure team. Joanne has extensive experience acting for a range of clients in both the government and private sectors (including financiers, principals, contractors, and consultants) in contentious and non-contentious matters across a broad spectrum of projects, with a particular focus on the energy, property development, defence, and infrastructure industries. She is experienced in providing legal and commercial advice regarding procurement strategies, tendering, contract drafting, project documentation, contract administration, claims and disputes.

Prior to joining LegalVision, Joanne worked for two large national law firms, including as part of a top-tier Infrastructure Projects and Construction team. There, she gained extensive experience negotiating and advising on contract documents and assisting clients with project delivery. Joanne seeks to provide clients with timely, high-quality, user-friendly, commercial legal advice.

Joanne moved from Melbourne to France in late 2020, and now works remotely (part-time) from a small village in the French Alps! In her spare time, Joanne enjoys hiking and skiing with her three children!

Qualifications: Bachelor of Laws (Hons), Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice, Bachelor of Arts (Political Science), Diploma in Modern Languages (French).
