Emily Fletcher | Practice Leader | Meet The Team

Emily is a Practice Leader in LegalVision’s Property team, with broad expertise across property law. She has over 10 years’ experience practising as a lawyer, initially with a boutique property firm in Perth, then a national mid-tier law firm in Sydney, and most recently in-house counsel at a global real estate asset manager.

Emily has extensive experience spanning the lifecycle of a property transaction from due diligence, acquisitions/disposals, developer agreements, through to the operational phase of an asset. This experience enables Emily to provide pragmatic legal advice to her clients.

In particular, Emily has assisted both landlords and tenants on complex leasing matters across the different states in Australia and the different industries (commercial, retail and industrial). She also specialises in reviewing different types of contracts for clients within the construction space.

In her spare time, Emily loves spending time outside, whether at the beach, camping or hiking.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Laws, Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice, University of Western Australia.
