Ellie Watford is a Lawyer at LegalVision working predominantly in capital raising and M&A.
Ellie started her legal career as a researcher in cyber security and privacy law. She was a presenter at the RUMLAE 2023 Conference on directors’ duties and cyber breaches and co-authored a journal article on biometric data published in the Australian Law Journal.
After completing the Startmate Fellowship, Ellie has focused her career on supporting Australia’s startup ecosystem. Ellie specialises in startup law and has experience working with clients across many stages of the startup journey from establishing constituent documents to capital raising and M&A.
Outside of work, Ellie loves to spend time visiting remote and regional Australia with her husband and dog.
