Cannoil specialises in importing and distributing medicinal cannabis. The company bulk imports prescription-grade medicinal cannabis into Germany and distributes an off-the-shelf medicinal cannabis wellness product in the UK. Cannoil wanted to expand this business into Australia. While prescription-grade medicinal cannabis is now permitted under Australian law, wellness products are not yet accepted. Cannoil needed legal assistance to understand and adhere to local regulatory requirements. The company also needed business structuring, accounting and marketing support. They found the traditional legal firms to be inflexible, limiting their advice to the questions Cannoil asked. They did not take the initiative to identify other areas that may be of interest or use for their business.
“LegalVision's membership has helped us accelerate our business program, providing access to advice in a very efficient and cost-effective manner. LegalVision’s lawyers demystify legal matters, giving informative and meaningful advice. Having access to LegalVision’s business partners at no extra cost has also been very valuable and enjoyable.”
