Question: What is Product Liability?
Answer:Product liability is essentially a legal responsibility to ensure that any product you sell is safe. It also means that if anyone is injured from your products you are liable.
Product liability may arise at every stage, from the manufacturing, distribution and supply, to the sale and use of the product. Usually the manufacturer or importer is liable for their products if they are unsafe, but if the manufacturer is unreachable or action against them is unenforceable as a result of different laws or jurisdictions, then the retailer of the product may be liable for personal injury or loss caused by the product.
