Summary / Bio:
Jill has been practicing as a lawyer for over 15 years, with a particular focus on structured asset finance and leasing. She is qualified in both England and Wales and New South Wales.
Whilst previously working at Norton Rose Fulbright, Herbert Smith Freehills and Clayton Utz, where she was advising export credit agencies, investment banks and other financial institutions, borrowers, leasing companies and large corporates on complex cross border transactions, Jill gained a thorough understanding of banking and finance law including an in depth knowledge of the Personal Property Securities Act. This has proven particularly useful when assisting clients in the equipment hire space or clients taking or granting security over assets.
As well as banking and finance law, Jill now also specialises in business structuring/start-ups, including convertible loans, revenue loans, shareholders agreements, issuing equity and employee share option plans, and online law, including very complex marketplaces.
Jill uses her experience working on large corporate transactions to provide start-ups and small, medium and large businesses with top quality, practical and commercial advice. She also has a great deal of experience managing a high-volume of work with quick turnarounds.
In her spare time Jill enjoys yoga and spending time with her 4 little boys.
