The Role

​In your role as a Growth Marketer / Content Strategist, your role will depend on your experience and what skill set you can bring to the job. Responsibilities include:

  • creating and editing legal content – articles, blog posts, infographics and video;
  • owning top-of-funnel acquisition channels and working across the acquisition stack – our websites (SEM and SEO), print media and social media;
  • exploring more experiential marketing initiatives – podcasting, workshops and more guerilla tactics. We’re looking for a creative thinker who is not afraid to step out of the box and propose innovative ideas to break into emerging digital platforms; and
  • learning and growing with a team that has developed an award-winning business and marketing strategy. We’ve been recognised for marketing, innovation, diversity, client service and more!

At a high growth startup, every day brings different challenges. Here are some you’re bound to face:

  • identifying and unlocking acquisition channels and optimisation strategies
  • managing diverse content production and distribution projects including liaising with external production agencies
  • making complex legal concepts seem simple while contributing content to our database of over 3,500 articles
  • building relationships with content collaborators
  • forging partnerships with key media outlets, influencers and brands
  • expanding our social media presence
  • understanding industry trends and competitor tactics to help optimise marketing spend

The Ideal Applicant

  • digital marketing experience (preferably 2+ years)
  • track record of growing paid and organic traffic
  • experience with marketing automation and website/conversion optimisation
  • data-driven and analytical mindset
  • knows the legal industry or has a law degree (not essential)

Ways to Stand Out

  • experience in search, online or digital marketing, especially B2B
  • excellent copywriter
  • design skills in Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
  • experience in WordPress
  • UX/Wireframing skills
  • HTML, CSS, JS/jQuery
  • familiarity with Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Bing, Marketo or SEO
